This place is in a peaceful location nestled in the hills, making it easy to get anywhere, the room is reasonably large and functional with a huge bathroom, and the staff are very efficient and attentive. 

The staff that checked us in was extremely helpful. The double room was spotless, the bed was comfortable. The hotel was a short walk to the Brook House Inn, a fab pub, and accommodation.

This place has a great location to visit Eskdale Mill and is surrounded by beautiful waterfalls and the opportunity to take a trip on the Eskdale Railway to Ravenglass, Scafell, and beyond.

The location near the train station was perfect for our day hike up Scafell Pike. The staff's exceptional customer service made us feel welcome and appreciated. The comfortable bed provided us with a good night's sleep before our hike.
